For cleaner student transportation. Our bike is overflowing every day!
To promote sustainable transportation and reduce carbon emissions, our project aims to install additional bike racks on campus, encouraging more students to bike to school safely and securely while supporting a healthier, eco-friendly lifestyle.
Our proposed Green Project focuses on encouraging sustainable transportation by installing additional bike racks on our middle school campus. Currently, we have only one bike rack, which is not sufficient for the growing number of students who choose to bike to school. By expanding bike parking capacity, we aim to promote biking as a healthy, eco-friendly alternative to car transportation.
Through this project, students will explore environmental topics such as carbon emissions, air pollution, and the impact of transportation choices on climate change. Classroom discussions, activities, and signage around the bike racks will help raise awareness about the environmental and health benefits of biking.
The project will be implemented by first identifying the best locations for additional bike racks, followed by working with school administration and local partners to install them.
Students will take an active role in planning and promoting the initiative through school announcements, posters, and presentations. This hands-on involvement will empower them to be environmental leaders in their community.
Ultimately, this project will reduce our school’s carbon footprint, ease traffic congestion, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility among students.
